G drive sync for mac5/29/2023 ![]() However, we're absolutely more likely to add support for it in the future if requests for it outpace others. In the end, it makes a huge difference to us what features people want, but again Google Drive is just one of many requested sync options even. We're always looking at ways to improve 1Password, but this has to be done a little at a time, and Google Drive hasn't made the cut yet. And certainly we don't advertise Google Drive support, since we don't currently offer it. I would even appreciate it more if you would use your internal communication channels to express that the number of dissatisfied or frustrated paying customers is increasing in regards to the feature request of adding Google Drive as one of the integrated syncing If 1Password doesn't have the featureset you're looking for, you don't have to buy it. Just want to know if it's time to switch away or if there is actually some real intention of implementing this very soon. But we'll continue to explore alternatives such as Google Drive and others going forward. I guess the takeaway is that you're free to use Folder Sync with virtually any cloud service, but we currently support Dropbox and iCloud in particular because they both have robust sync APIs across multiple platforms, customer support, and we've tested them extensively with 1Password specifically.so we can wholeheartedly recommend those particular solutions. I just know it cut my battery life in half until I noticed and disabled it! However, in my case I don't currently have any 1Password data stored there, so I don't know what was up with that.
